Research into Accessible Public Information
Rijksoverheid, Kamer van Koophandel (KVK) and het Ministerie van Volksgezondheid, Welzijn en Sport (VWS)
For the Dutch government, Healthcare Accountability, and the Chamber of Commerce, I conducted research on how to better structure information for audiences with different levels of prior knowledge. Government information is often complex, and not always accessible to all users. To address this, I interviewed people from a wide range of backgrounds, including citizens, entrepreneurs, and healthcare professionals, to understand their needs and challenges.
Based on these conversations, I identified key barriers and opportunities, with a focus on inclusive and clear communication. I translated these findings into concrete recommendations for content structure, navigation, and presentation. This helped teams create more accessible digital experiences that support users regardless of their background or level of expertise.
Website & Tools for an inclusive Experience
YourUX
At YourUX (Blauw Research), I redesigned the website to improve accessibility and better meet the needs of their evolving audience. The new navigation is based on the UX process, with filters to easily find relevant projects and a refreshed layout to showcase case studies.
(To be published) I created a physical method card fan; a visual, hands-on guide to UX research methods. It supports workshops and client conversations, making UX more accessible for teams of all backgrounds.
